Next Big Milestone: Emergency Surgical Care
We are thrilled to share that Texas A&M’s BUILD program has awarded the Gouri Village Project a second custom mobile clinic unit — this time engineered specifically as a dedicated minor surgical suite!
This facility will bring essential surgical capabilities directly to rural Chad. Your donations will directly cover:
- Shipping and transit costs from Texas to Chad.
- Outfitting the unit with specialized surgical instruments for C-sections, pediatric care, and urgent medical interventions.
Continuing Our Core Initiatives
- Clean Water: drilling new wells across neighboring villages to safeguard public health.
- Agricultural & Mobility Support: draft animals to help more families plow fields and transport goods or medical emergencies.
- Safe Learning Environments: replacing outdoor lessons under trees and thatched huts with permanent, secure school classrooms.
